Our ESH Commitment
77 Legacy Africa Ventures is committed to conducting all operations in a manner that protects the health and safety of our employees, contractors, clients, and the communities in which we work. We strive to minimise our environmental footprint and comply with all applicable environmental, safety, and health laws and regulations.
Environmental Stewardship
- Conduct environmental impact assessments prior to project commencement.
- Implement waste management and pollution prevention measures on all sites.
- Minimise resource consumption and promote sustainable construction practices.
- Comply with national and international environmental regulations and standards.
- Engage local communities on environmental concerns and mitigation measures.
Safety Standards
- Maintain a zero-tolerance policy for unsafe work practices.
- Provide comprehensive safety training to all personnel before site access.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations.
- Ensure all personnel have access to appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Establish clear emergency response procedures on every project site.
Occupational Health
- Promote physical and mental wellbeing for all workers and staff.
- Monitor and control occupational health hazards including noise, dust, and chemical exposure.
- Provide access to medical support and first aid on all active project sites.
- Maintain records of health incidents and implement corrective actions promptly.
